Event-Triggered Control for Fuzzy-Based Networked Wind-Turbines-Integrated Power Systems With Distributed Communication Delays

This paper proposes an event-triggered control for tie-line networked power systems (NPSs) equipped with wind turbines involving distributed communication delays. Distinct to the previous studies, this paper extends an existing model by considering the effect of wind turbine generator (WTG) output, pitch angle, power coefficient, and tip-speed ratio concerning the power system. Further, a linear form of complex nolinear model is expressed as Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy-based models. In addition, communication delays during network transmission are modeled in distributed form through probability density function. Theoretically, this paper derives a sufficient stability conditions to guarantee the global asymptotical stability of NPSs via event-triggered load frequency control algorithm. To validate the proposed conditions, the considered model is numerically simulated and the outcomes are compared with traditional control schemes.
