Design and Construction of a Didactic Simulator of the Human Eye Function

The medical simulators for teaching have been evolving over the years, and now they have become useful learning tools for undergraduate and postgraduate clinicians. They prevent clinicians from performing a wrong procedure by using simulators or models of patients, organs, processes of the body, etc. This article addresses the design and implementation of a human eye simulator of the upper eyelid and the pupil dilation and constriction for medical teaching purposes.
