Magnetic Array-Based Current Inversion Method Considering Position Offsets

In this paper, a magnetic array-based current sensing method is proposed to realize high-accuracy current measurement despite position offset (e.g. eccentricity and tilt) of the current-carrying conductor. A theoretical model of the magnetic field generated by a current-carrying conductor, consisting of the position offset is first built. Then, instead of the current flowing in the conductor, the eccentricity parameters and tilt angle of the current-carrying conductor are all inversely calculated. By refreshing the coefficients of magnetic array-based current sensor, the current measurement accuracy can be guaranteed under different position offsets of the current-carrying conductor. The proposed method is compared with the classical discrete loop integration method. A series of experiments are performed to demonstrate the highlights of the proposed method in comparison with the classical one.
