Dot-Shaped 3D Beamforming with Arbitrary Frequency Diverse Array and Spectral Peak Determination

This paper presents a method for forming ideal dot-shaped 3-D beams using arbitrarily arranged Frequency Diverse Arrays (FDA). Additionally, the spectrum of signals at the FDA focal point is analyzed, indicating that the lowest frequency is not necessarily the spectral peak. Based on this analysis, a method to set the operating frequency to the frequency point with the strongest power in the signal spectrum is provided.
