One-Bit Radar Sparse Imaging Based on Single-Frequency Thresholds

To address the issue of lost amplitude information in received echo for one-bit radar imaging, a one-bit radar sparse imaging method based on single-frequency threshold is proposed. The proposed algorithm employs the single-frequency threshold in one-bit quantization. By utilizing the prior information of the threshold, it successfully can recover the amplitude information of the range profiles. Thus, this approach can reduce the degradation caused by amplitude distortion during subsequent processing in the cross-range dimension, thereby enhancing the overall imaging quality. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is able to recover the target’s scattering intensity for one-bit radar.
