A Broadband Vertical Polarization Omnidirectional Antenna Based on Stub Loading

This paper introduces a broadband vertical polarization omnidirectional antenna based on stub loading operating in the VHF band. The antenna adopts the method of coupled feeding, uses loading stub technology and uses a choke magnetic ring to improve the unbalanced feeding phenomenon. The simulated and measured results show the antenna VSWR is less than 2 in $108-156 \mathrm{MHz}$. Its relative bandwidth is ${3 6 \%}$. The antenna has the characteristics of broadband, lightweight and miniaturization. It can provide good omnidirectional radiation characteristics on the azimuth plane in the working frequency band.
