Design of a Vivaldi array with low Radar Cross-Section

A Vivaldi array with low Radar Cross-Section is proposed. The normal gain of the array can reach 15.8dBi, and the loss of the gain is 2.8dBi at a scanning angle of 60°. The VSWR of all units lie below 2.5 within the scanning angle. By modifying the antenna unit and loading the Polarization Conversion Meta-surfaces (PCM) and the Frequency Selective Surface (FSS), a 10dBsm RCS reduction is achieved in-band, and an average RCS reduction of 20dBsm out-band is achieved.
