Impact Analysis of Adding Creases on Origami Reflectarray with Flasher Configuration

This paper presents an origami reflectarray antenna with Flasher configuration for small satellite. Adding Flasher creases can significantly reduce folded volume. However, the impact of adding creases on electrical performance remains unclear. Therefore, this study models and analyzes the Flasher reflectarray with varying creases counts. The simulation results show that after adding creases, the number of placeable elements decreases, and the gain will loss $0-0.9 \mathrm{~dB}$. Consequently, the Flasher origami antenna in small satellite needs to achieve the balance between RF and compact deployment.
