A Novel Slot and Channel Resource Allocation Algorithm for Multi-Channel Directional Ad Hoc Networks

Directional beams are used by directional ad hoc networks to communicate with neighbor nodes. The utilization of multi-channel in directional ad hoc network can significantly improve the efficiency of frequency resources, thus improving throughput and anti-interference ability. Based on the directional link and time synchronization, we propose a novel resource allocation algorithm that utilizes pseudo random sequence (PRS) and multi-channel to assign slots and channels, which can effectively reduce the link interference and enhance the throughput of the system. The proposed algorithm is capable of controlling space, time, and frequency in multiple dimensions. Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm.
