Modeling and Experimental Investigation of Array Multisource Energy Harvester in Series

With the aim of expanding the illumination area and broadening the resonant frequency range, an array multisource energy harvester connected in series was proposed. The mathematical model of the array multisource energy harvester taking into account the anomalous photovoltaic and piezoelectric effects was derived. Numerical simulations and experimental verifications were carried out. The results demonstrate that the mathematical model is rational. The experimental findings show that under light with an intensity of 3 mW/cm² and vibration of 1 g@28 Hz, the maximum output power of three harvesters connected in series reached 707 μW, which is three times as high as the output of a single cantilever beam.
