Analysis and Design of a Magnetic Coupler for WPT System for a Linear Guide Track of Rack and Pinion Module

In order to improve the efficiency and safety of the linear guide track of rack and pinion module operation, a high-efficiency wireless power transmission system suitable for the long guide track of the transmitting end is investigated. In this paper, on the basis of in-depth analysis of the structure and topological parameters of the wireless power transfer system, we use the control variable method to deeply analyze the relationship between the width of the transmitting coil and the receiving coil, the selection of the number of turns, and the influence of the transmission distance on the performance of the system. And the selection basis of system frequency is given. Finally, the system realizes a power transmission of 114.4 W, and the internal resistance loss of the coupling mechanism is 3.3 W. The system efficiency can reach 97.2%.
