Running Wave Interferometer with Active Medium

The passive mode of operation of the running wave interferometer, which contains an active medium, is considered in detail in the work with the help of an analytical mathematical model. First, the working principle and mathematical model of the interferometer are described. The influence of the interferometer parameters on the duration of the transient process and on the value of the steady-state intensity of the output signal was studied. At the end, the features of the active mode of operation of the interferometer are briefly given.
