Mathematical Model of Electromagnetic Transients of a Frequency-Controlled Propeller's Induction Motor

To solve the practical problem of reducing energy costs in the transport industry, it is important to increase the energy efficiency of the fleet of diesel units, for which modern designs of power plants and energy sources for them are being researched and created, in particular, the installation of electrical elements of power plants based on modern conversion technology, and the development of modern motion control algorithms. In the context of solving this problem, the article shows the process of improving the method of dynamic inductances, which is supplemented in terms of taking into account the electrical and magnetic asymmetry of the circuits of the induction motor and extended to a new class of systems - ship propulsion electromechanical AC systems, which allows to increase the accuracy of the result of taking into account the saturation processes and reduce the level of consumption of diesel generator power plants of vehicles due to asymmetric electromagnetic processes in the windings of the traction motor. The presented transient characteristics show the stability of the developed power plant control system when the active resistance and inductance of the stator circuit change. The peculiarity of the developed power plant control system is its structure, all the coefficients of which depend only on the parameters of the real power plant, which simplifies the adjustment in real conditions and does not require additional modelling, forecasting or separate reference data, but only requires measuring the static parameters of the power plant.
