AssignEase: A Web Application for Streamlining Employee Assignment Management

This paper presents the development of AssignEase, an innovative web solution developed to make managing staff assignments easier, which was developed using agile framework. Results show that the system is acceptable to the users, following the ISO 25010 software evaluation. It is designed to be easy to use for employers and employees tasking activities. It offers secure, personalized dashboards, role-based access control, automated reminders, escalations, analytics, and reporting tools. These features help employers measure team performance, task completion, and individual productivity. In addition, it makes it easy to track deadlines and progress reports and adapt to changes in staff requirements. Employees can access assignments from anywhere, track their progress, and securely collaborate with their colleagues. AssignEase simplifies the management of staff, making it efficient, and beneficial for everyone. This project presents some recommendations to enhance the features of the systems for successive iterative development.
