Abstract:

The high level of coffee consumption in Indonesia is one of the causes of the growth of coffee shops in various regions, including in Bekasi. One of the places to eat in the area is a favorite of young people to gather and spend time together. To improve service and satisfaction with customers while at the restaurant, the owner wants to create an application that can speed up waiting times and minimize food delivery errors ordered by customers and queues at the cashier. In the study, a mobile website-based food and beverage menu order application was made. A menu ordering application is a system to manage the order and delivery of food and become a solution to transform menu ordering from a traditional way to a digital way by using an application. The application was created with two technologies, namely QR codes and RFID, that can increase the effective and efficient food and beverage menu ordering system compared to the previous way. Customers can also directly pay through the application without going to the cashier. The application development method is the Kanban method because it clearly describes tasks, subtasks, deadlines, and progress status. Based on the results of direct testing on 20 respondents who visited restaurants, as many as 65% said the menu order process became more accessible and faster. In contrast, 35% said the application was easy to use. Meanwhile, based on user acceptance test testing, the average performance of application functionality was 91.4%. Based on this data, the ordering process has become more effective, efficient, easy to understand, and easy to use.
