New-type flexible control technology of three-phase unbalance in low-voltage distribution network

With the proliferation of distributed resources such as distributed generation and distributed energy storage, power quality problems have become a thorny problem. specifically the problems of three-phase unbalance, due to the random integration of the distributed resources. In order to deal with this issue, a flexible control technology of the photovoltaic, flexible loads and energy storage is proposed in this paper. By considering the constraints of power flow and voltage deviation, the optimal three-phase unbalance control model is developed to minimize the control costs and ensure the safe operation of the distribution system. The simulation analysis on the distribution network shows that the proposed method can coordinate the operation of distributed resources efficiently and reduce the operation cost significantly, which provides an effective technical means to solve the three-phase unbalance problem of the new low-voltage distribution network.
