The Use of Video-Based Learning to Improve Chinese Grammar Ability

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using video-based learning to improve Mandarin grammar skills. Traditional learning methods are often considered less interesting and less effective in teaching Chinese grammar. Therefore, this research proposes the integration of video-based learning technology as an alternative approach. This study involved 36 students using video-based learning and a collective 24-item testing survey. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in Mandarin grammar skills in the group that used video-based learning. The implications of these findings support the use of video technology in language learning contexts, especially to improve understanding and mastery of Mandarin grammar. This study contributes to further understanding of the role of technology in improving foreign language grammar skills.
