Algorithm for Choosing Optimal Design of All-Optical Switch

The mathematical model of an all-optical switch describing the relationships between its internal parameters and output characteristics is presented. The algorithm for selecting optimal solutions in designing all-optical switches is proposed. The results of the algorithm functioning for the case of selecting an all-optical switch intended for operation in a backbone and an access network are presented. The result of algorithm are options for constructing devices whose technical and economic metrics meet the specified requirements.
