Failure Analysis of Resistance Parachute Lock Mechanism in Complex Environment

The drag parachute locking system is an important part of the aircraft takeoff and landing system. The reliability of the system directly affects the safe landing of the airplane. This paper combines the typical use environment of a certain type of aircraft, and carries out the investigation of the functional reliability of the mechanism under the action of the complex environment. The failure mechanisms of hinge thermal expansion and creep relaxation of steel cable are considered. The influencing factors are parameterized in the dynamic simulation and numerically simulated under the stochastic principle. Functional data of the drag parachute locking mechanism are obtained under consideration of time evolution. The reliability and kinematic performance of the locking mechanism in complex environments are evaluated.
