Evaluation and monitoring of SAR and temperature during an indoor Wi-Fi call

The increased use of wireless local area networks (WI-FI) has led to potential daily overexposure to radio-frequency electromagnetic fields in both the home and work environment. The aim is to provide an assessment of the biological effects on the human body of electromagnetic fields in the Wi-Fi range under different exposure conditions, based on studies conducted so far. The work presents the acquisition and monitoring system through the realisation of an electronic device capable of processing the signal from sensors appropriately positioned within an environment. The results produced provided effective answers for the evaluation of temperature distribution on the surface of the human body due to the incidence of electromagnetic fields. The device acquires data from the sensors and detects temperature and SAR values when the user is positioned on the axis of maximum directivity of the directional antennas.
