In Vivo Neural Stimulation and Recording using Flexible Bioelectronics

This work introduces the development and application of flexible nanoelectronics designed for in vivo neural stimulation and recording. These tissue-level flexible and soft, and minimally invasive devices enable seamless integration with neural tissues, providing high-resolution electrophysiological recordings and precise neural stimulation. Successfully applied to both the brain and spinal cord, the technology demonstrates long-term biocompatibility, stability, and high spatial resolution. These advancements are expected to enhance neuroelectronic applications such as brain-machine interfaces, neuromodulation therapies, and neural prosthetics.
