Abstract:
With the development of China's economy and the rapid increase of the elderly population, escalators are becoming more and more popular in daily life, bringing a lot of convenience to travelling. At the same time in recent years, the frequent safety accidents of escalators have triggered people's concern, how to ensure the safe operation of escalators and at the same time diagnose and warn the faults in a timely manner, which has become the focus of many lift manufacturers and operation and maintenance personnel to study the problem. The traditional periodic inspection of escalators has caused a waste of manpower and material resources, and the increasingly large number of escalator types and quantities have made it inevitable to seek new inspection techniques and methods. The rapid development of the Internet of Things technology and sensor technology has brought a new development direction for the operational status monitoring of escalator parts. In this context, this paper constructs a status monitoring and early warning system for escalator parts (drive host, main drive shaft, step chain tensioning device, handrail belt).
