Research on Switch Driving Circuit of Full Electronic Interlocking System

In order to meet the modern rail transit requirements for an interlocking system with high reliability, security, and intelligence, this paper introduces a digital data acquisition and drive circuit along with a safety relay drive interface circuit designed for the control of direct current point machines. This innovative circuit replaces traditional safety relay circuits in current computer interlocking systems using intelligent electronic devices. A key feature is the integration of a turnout drive detection circuit within the action drive circuit, enabling real-time monitoring of the turnout status during the switching process. Furthermore, an additional channel has been incorporated into both the set position acquisition and reverse position acquisition circuits. After rectification by diodes, voltage waveform sampling is conducted. Analysis of the voltage waveforms from these channels facilitates accurate identification of fault types, enhancing maintainability. Leveraging modern electronic information technology, power electronic switching technology, embedded computing, and redundancy techniques, the proposed circuit achieves direct control of the turnout machine, providing a fully electronic, safe, advanced, and reliable solution for the modernization of railway switch equipment.
