Research on Key Technologies of Dedicated 5G Public Network for Suburban Railway

In the process of suburban railway development, there is an increasing demand for mobile communication business, which is becoming more extensive and complex. This has led to higher requirements for communication networks. The fifth generation mobile communication technology (5G) is characterized by low latency, high speed, and large connectivity. By using 5G public network dedicated, the new business demands brought by intelligent railway can be addressed, leading to the comprehensive upgrading of suburban railway in terms of intelligent operation and maintenance, safety management, and passenger services. This paper explores different networking schemes of 5G public network dedicated for suburban railways, and proposes specific technical solutions such as networking schemes and system architectures for the dedicated 5G public network.
