Dynamic Control of Power-Relay Inductive Power Transfer System Using Linear Matrix Inequality

This paper deals with the control design of uncertain power-relay inductive power transfer (IPT) system with interval time-varying delay. Due to the disturbance from environment and the heat generated by inner coils, the mutual inductances of the power-relay IPT system, which are important parameters for the system, will have a variation inevitably. Besides, the charged load of power-relay system will also vary unexpectedly in a range as the system runs. It produces that there are parametric uncertainties in the power-relay IPT system, which should be dealt with seriously. As the power-transfer distance increases, the time-varying delay also exists in the power-relay IPT system. In this paper, stability analysis is proposed to suppress these influences.
