Application of Gauss Fitting Method in Quality Assessment of Afterloader System

Spot center detection is an important detection method in optical measurement. In this paper, according to the characteristics of Gaussian fitting method, which can adjust the parameters of Gaussian function by analyzing the distribution characteristics of data points, so as to minimize the error between data points and fitting function, it is used in the quality assessment process of Afterloader System, a kind of instrument used to treat malignant tumors. By using OpenCV and Gaussian fitting method to process and analyze the film images generated during the quality assessment process, the central position of the dark spot formed by the radiation source can be detected, and then the accuracy of the radiation source in place during the treatment process of the Afterloader System can be accurately obtained.
