Research on Precise Control Method of High Torque Hydraulic Motor Stator Based on Optimized PID Algorithm

In response to the current situation in China's mining, shipbuilding, military, engineering machinery and other fields where hydraulic motors with good low-speed stability, high starting torque, and high power density mainly rely on imports, we have independently developed an internal curve radial piston hydraulic motor. We have studied the structural characteristics of basic components such as stator guide rail curve and motor rollers, mastered key design and manufacturing technologies such as high wear-resistant stator, low impact, and high power ratio, analyzed the working principle and control accuracy requirements of hydraulic motor stator for different operating conditions, and proposed a precise control method and control strategy using optimized PID algorithm. The PID parameter adjustment obtained by defuzzification is applied to the PID controller to control the system. Taking the transmission system of a certain motor used in heavy engineering machinery as an example, which requires high torque output and stable operation, this study adopts the PID algorithm for adjustment and optimization. After optimization, the response curves of displacement error and velocity error are smooth, and the stabilization time is only 4.768 seconds. At this time, the amplitude of displacement error decays to less than 10% of the peak value. The experiment shows that this control method is stable and reliable, and can achieve precise control of hydraulic motors.
