Based on the distributed lag model, the study of the impact of Urban Residents' household income on consumption-This article takes the example of Henan Province

This paper uses the distributed lag model to empirically test the impact of per capita disposable income of urban households on consumption in Henan Province from 1993to2023. In the short term, the change of household income of urban residents has a large positive causing effect on urban residents' consumption expenditure, and the impact is the most significant. In the long run, volatility adjusts accordingly due to substitution effects. However, on the whole, the change of household income of urban residents in Henan Province has a significant impact on residents' consumption. Therefore, in order to fully implement the strategy of expanding domestic demand, give full play to the basic role of consumption in economic development, and continuously enhance the lasting power of high-quality development, the article puts forward policy suggestions from three aspects:the government, enterprises and residents themselves.
