Study on the Influence of Sensor Installation on Gas Flow Measurement by Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flowmeter

The clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter has the advantages of small, easy to carry and non-invasive direct measurement, and has a good application prospect in the field of gas flow measurement. However, in the industrial field, the measurement of the clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter often has a large error. In order to understand and improve the accuracy and consistency of the measurement results of the clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, this paper studies the sensor installation of the clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, and quantifies the influence of the sensor spacing on the measurement results through theoretical analysis and experimental verification. The relevant research can provide reference for improving the industrial application of clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter.
