A Novel Women Safety Android Application

A smartphone-based safety device is a critical measure in this world where crime incidence keeps on heightening, especially against women. This research study describes the design and development of a Women's Safety Application that aims at delivering multi-dimensional space for the safety and its swift response through emergencies. Three core modules have been developed in this application: User, Police, and Admin. A few paramount but not limited characteristics are real-time location sharing with trusted contacts, police station finder for immediate assistance, hassle-free reporting of harassment cases, an SOS alert system that can automate location pinpointing of the user upon the triggering of emergency SMS alerts to guardians through Google Geo-Location services and GPS. The application gives a good and friendly interface and is developed using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, PHP and MySQL Server. This technology advancement integration will empower women against safety measures based on digitally tracing situations and will equip them with a tool that could help reverse threats in real-world scenarios.
