Research on the hardware design of solar street light based on automatic light chasing technology

This design utilizes a light-dependent resistor (LDR) and an STM32 microcontroller to work together for real-time solar tracking, optimizing solar energy capture. Combined with the 28BYJ-48 stepper motor control, it ensures that the solar panel is always aligned with the sun, maximizing energy absorption. The light sensor module monitors ambient light levels, intelligently controlling the on/off function of LED streetlights. Through the OLED display and ESP-01S module, data monitoring and remote management are achieved. This system not only improves the energy conversion efficiency of the solar panel but also stores excess energy in a lithium battery, ensuring lighting requirements are met during the night, enabling energy self-sufficiency. It is suitable for various outdoor locations, significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions, contributing to environmental protection, and demonstrating the important value of energy saving and emission reduction. The system has a broad application prospect and promotion potential.
