Design and Simulation of a Smart Ward System Based on ARM and Proteus

With the rapid development of IoT and embedded technologies, the construction of smart wards has become a key focus in modern healthcare. This study aims to design a smart ward simulation system based on an ARM processor to address inefficiencies in traditional ward management, such as low manual monitoring efficiency and overlooked infusion monitoring. The system integrates multiple functional modules, including temperature and humidity monitoring, light intensity adjustment, infusion monitoring, call alarms, and fan control, creating an intelligent platform for ward environment management and patient status monitoring. By employing multi-sensor fusion technology for data acquisition and an incremental PID control algorithm for precise fan speed regulation, the system is tested using Proteus simulation software. Results indicate that all functional modules operate stably and respond quickly, ensuring ward comfort and safety while significantly improving the precision and efficiency of medical care. The system demonstrates advantages such as low cost and low complexity, providing strong technical support and theoretical basis for the practical deployment of smart wards.
