Applying Machine Learning to Improve Service Management

The present work proposes the application of machine learning techniques to enhance service management protocols. The article concentrates on incident management, problem management, and change management as the three main facets of service management. The use of machine learning algorithms to foresee service disruptions, automate tasks, and identify trends that may indicate problems is covered in this study. Additionally, the article discusses how resource distribution and prioritisation may be improved by service management teams, leading to reduced downtime and improved service quality. The article provides examples of how machine learning may be used to incident management, including automated ticket routing and classification, and issue management, including identifying the root cause of recurring issues. The report also discusses how machine learning might help change management procedures by anticipating changes and suggesting the best course of action. The study highlights the potential benefits of machine learning for service management, including increased efficiency, improved quality of service, and lower costs.
