Performance Analysis of Millimetre Wave, Sub-THz Channel Model for Indoor and Outdoor Environments with Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface

This research investigates the performance of 6G communication systems operating in millimeter-wave and sub-THz frequency bands. The study focuses on evaluating the performance of massive MIMO systems with both uniform linear arrays (ULAs) and uniform rectangular arrays (URAs) across various indoor and outdoor channel models, including line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios. The research analyzes key performance indicators such as path loss, power at the receiver, path loss exponent (n), and root mean square (RMS) delay spread. Additionally, the study investigates the impact of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) on system performance across different channel models. This comprehensive analysis provides valuable insights into the performance of 6G communication systems in various environments and will guide the development of robust and efficient communication technologies for the future.
