A FIR computing characteristic analysis method based on arithmetic mean filtering

Arithmetic mean filtering is a widely used digital filtering method. In engineering applications, the number of filtering operation points N should usually be selected according to the parameter characteristics and filtering requirements of the signal, but the selection method of the average filter parameter N is still not clear enough, and the amplitude-frequency response characteristics of the filter are still worthy of attention. Based on the FIR characteristic analysis of arithmetic average filtering, its analytical mathematical relationship is derived, and a universally applicable operation point selection method and key data characteristics of filter amplitude-frequency response is given.
