Simulation Analysis and Structural Optimization of Lift-Style Power Catwalk Based on ADAMS

To address the jitter phenomenon occurring during the operation of the lift-type power catwalk, an ADAMS virtual prototype was established. A force analysis was performed to investigate the jitter issue at the transition point. Based on the analysis results, a structural optimization scheme was proposed. This optimization scheme was then validated through simulations in ADAMS. The experimental results show that, after applying the optimization scheme, the amplitude of the catwalk's jitter was reduced by more than a factor of four.
