Non-Contact Recognition of Human Vital Signs Based on Millimeter-Wave Radar

The detection system for non-contact human vital signs is being gradually developed, and breathing and heartbeat, as very important vital signs information of the human body, will have a large number of noisy signals in the recognition process, and the inability to accurately separate respiratory and heartbeat signals has become one of the problems that need to be solved urgently at this stage. To this end, this paper proposes a non-contact human vital signs monitoring method based on millimeter-wave radar, which analyzes the collected real data by using continuous wavelet transform, fast Fourier transform, phase extraction and other methods, and realizes the recognition of human respiratory and heartbeat physiological movements at a certain distance. In order to verify the feasibility and correctness of this method, this paper not only compares and analyzes the breathing and heartbeat data detected by the ECG module with the data collected by millimeter-wave radar, but also compares the signals in the simulation environment to further prove that the method can realize the separation and recognition of breathing and heartbeat signals of a single human target at a certain distance.
