Analysis of Echo Peak Characteristics of Ultrasonic wave in Lead Seal Defect of High Voltage Cable Terminal

This paper studies the ultrasonic phased array detection technology of lead seal defects in high voltage cable terminals, aiming at improving the accuracy and efficiency of detection. The influence of defect echo peak on the detection results was analyzed by COMSOL software. It is found that the peak coefficient can effectively distinguish between cracks and pores, and the peak coefficient of pores is much larger than that of cracks. The research not only improves the understanding of lead seal defect detection, but also provides technical guarantee for the safe and stable operation of power system.
