A Complementary Binary Code Phase-Shifting Profilometry

In the field of 3D measurement of fringe projection profilometry, the temporal phase unwrapping method is widely used because it can effectively unwrap the wrapped phase of the surface contour of complex objects. However, in the detection process, high speed detection and high-precision detection often can not be achieved simultaneously. Based on this, this paper proposes a phase-shifting profilometry for complementary Binary code. The auxiliary phases of Binary code with two different initial phases are obtained by analyzing the Binary code fringe images, and the unwrapped phase with high accuracy is quickly obtained by combining the auxiliary phase and the wrapped phase. In order to verify the proposed method, experimental verification is carried out in this paper. The experimental result shows that the proposed method can not only unwrap the phase with high accuracy, but also improve the phase unwrapping efficiency by 39% compared with the same type of method.
