State-Feedback Stabilization of Output-Constrained High-Order Nonlinear Feedforward Systems

In this paper, the state-feedback stabilization of high-order nonlinear feedforward systems with an asymmetric output constraint is investigated. By constructing scaling gain-based fractional nonlinear mappings, the sign function, a crucial coordinate transformation and integral Lyapunov functions, in-troducing adding a power integrator technique and a novel anal-ysis method, a continuous state-feedback controller is designed to eliminate the effects caused by upper-triangular nonlinearities and high powers. The performances of the closed-loop system can be proved, and the effectiveness of the control scheme can be demonstrated by a simulation example.
