Research on Temperature Control System Based on Cheetah Optimization Fuzzy PID Algorithm

With the rapid development of industrial automation and intelligent control technology, temperature control systems have been deployed in many fields, such as process control, biomedical engineering and electric drives. However, the performance of traditional PID controllers is often far from acceptable when running in temperature control systems with high nonlinearity and complexity. To fix this problem, this paper first proposes a thermal network modeling and refinement method based on the Cauer model. Based on this model, this paper creates a fuzzy PID control method based on the Cheetah optimization algorithm to improve the robustness and response speed of the temperature control system. The simulation results show that the step response curve of the system with the CO-fuzzy PID controller reaches the stable state in 0.64 seconds, while the traditional PID controller takes 1.14 seconds. Moreover, the overshoot of the CO-fuzzy PID controller is far less than that of the traditional PID controller. Therefore, with such good dynamic and static characteristics, the CO-fuzzy PID controller in this paper is believed to have a wide range of applications and be particularly suitable for industrial areas requiring accurate temperature control.
