Performance Analysis of Motorized Valve System Based on DC Motor Integrating Rotary Encoder Sensors and Full State Feedback Controller

This research aims to analyze the performance of a DC motor-based motorized valve system that integrates a rotary encoder sensor and a full-state feedback controller. A DC motor is used as a drive to replace the conventional valve lever. The integration of the rotary encoder sensor allows precise measurement of the valve position, while the full-state feedback controller is used to regulate the system response by considering the entire state of the system. The modeling process is carried out using a transfer function in the z domain to obtain the full state feedback gain that matches the desired specification, which is 0% overshoot. This research involves mathematical modeling of the system, prototype testing, and system performance analysis based on the valve position response to the control signal. The results of this analysis are expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of using DC motors, rotary encoder sensors, and full-state feedback controllers in improving the performance of an authorized valve system. It is hoped that this research can serve as a foundation for further development in the use of efficient and accurate motorized valve systems.
