Research on simulation of parallel power filter based on compound control

With the development of power electronics technology, the problem of harmonic pollution in power system is becoming more and more serious, which leads to the increase of equipment loss and the decrease of system stability. As an important tool to solve the harmonic problem, parallel power filter has been widely concerned. In this paper, the composite control strategy of parallel power filter is studied by simulation. Firstly, the working principle of the parallel filter and the characteristics of the harmonic source are analyzed, and the corresponding mathematical model is established. Then, the composite control strategy is adopted to combine the traditional PI control with the advanced predictive control to improve the dynamic response and steady-state performance of the system. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by simulation studies under various operating conditions on the MATLAB / Simulink platform. The simulation results show that the composite control can significantly reduce the harmonic current of the system, improve the power quality, and maintain low control energy consumption. In addition, the response of different harmonic frequencies and load changes is analyzed, which confirms the superiority of the control system under complex operating conditions. Finally, this paper also discusses the future research directions, including the optimization of the control algorithm and the improvement of the filter structure.
