Design of a new-type high voltage gain interleaved parallel Boost converter

For power supplies that require high output voltage from low input voltage, this paper proposes a new-type high voltage gain interleaved parallel Boost converter design to solve the problems of insufficient output voltage and high voltage stress on the switching devices in traditional interleaved parallel Boost converters. The output voltage of the converter is improved significantly by introducing a switching inductance unit to replace the traditional inductance and adding capacitors and diodes to form a booster unit at the rear stage of the converter. In the proposed Boost converter, the voltage stress of the switching device and diode is effectively reduced, and the voltage gain is also significantly increased. In addition, the converter has the advantages of simple structure, symmetrical components and convenient control. Finally, the simulation model of the converter is constructed by EDA simulation software, and the output voltage gain effect is verified. Simulation results show that the proposed topology can effectively improve the output voltage gain.
