Fixed-point magnetothermal effect in symmetric double-axis gradient field

Fixed-point magnetothermal effect is a technology that enables precise heating and minimizes the impact on unnecessary heating areas. In this study, we propose a symmetric double-axis gradient magnetic field for magnetic field hyperthermia (MFH) based on this technique. Unlike the previous asymmetric single-axis gradient magnetic field, this new magnetic field allows for a more stable, regular-shaped and contractile free field point (FFP). Magnetothermal experiments conducted at different hole locations demonstrate the effective realization of the fixed-point magnetothermal effect using the symmetric double-axis gradient magnetic field.
