Research on temperature sensing model of 110kv single-core cable intermediate connection hot spot

Cable intermediate connection is a weak link in the cable operation process, temperature is the main factor causing cable intermediate connection, hot spot temperature is difficult to accurately measure. This paper takes the 110 KV single-core cable intermediate connection as the research object, analyses the cable intermediate connection temperature inversion principle, designs the cable intermediate connection geometrical model by using the finite element simulation software, analyses the temperature distribution of the cable body and the connection part in operation by using the electromagnetic-thermal field coupling, and the results of the research provide a reference for the accurate measurement and prediction of the temperature of the cable intermediate connection.
