AI-assisted design education: boosting rapid prototyping skills in design students

This study investigates the integration of AI Agent technology in interactive design education, emphasizing rapid prototyping and interdisciplinary learning. It underscores the growing significance of machine learning in design and production as AI continues to advance. The research explores innovative teaching scenarios, content design, and varying levels of difficulty, with a focus on practical tasks and the latest AI applications. The findings reveal that AI Agent assistance significantly boosts student motivation and participation, as evidenced by IMI questionnaire scores above the median. Students reported finding AI Agents particularly beneficial, achieving high marks and greater confidence. This confirms the positive impact of AI Agents on digital-assisted learning and their value as tools for self-learning, ultimately enhancing educational efficiency.
