Study on the measurement method of ground conductivity of injected ground current field

The injected ground field technology is crucial for personnel localization and communication in complex geological environments, and accurate acquisition of ground conductivity information is a matter of communication quality and positioning accuracy. Aiming at the limitations of the traditional four-terminal electrode method of laying electrodes, this paper proposes a ground conductivity measurement method with non-linearly laid electrodes. The feasibility of the method was verified and analyzed in a numerical simulation environment. The results show that the method has good feasibility and accuracy, but attention should be paid to the effect of electrode asymmetry on the measurement results in the case of close distance between the detection electrode and the injection electrode. In the field measurement experiments, the standard deviation of the measured data of this method is less than 0.55 us/mm, and the maximum relative error is not more than 8.82%, which is able to meet the needs of the actual project, and provides a feasible solution for the measurement of conductivity under the complex geological environments, especially when the application of the traditional four-terminal electrode method is limited.
