Design and simulation analysis of aviation permanent magnet motor controllers

The motor controller, as the core component of the motor system, plays a crucial role in achieving precise motor control, enhancing system performance, and ensuring system stability. This paper focuses on the forward design phase of the motor controller, which includes principle analysis, simulation design, hardware design, and experimental verification, based on a specific parameterized aviation motor. Firstly, a detailed introduction to the structure and operation principles of the aviation permanent magnet motor control system is provided, along with the mathematical model of the permanent magnet motor in the d-q coordinate axis. Subsequently, a motor control diagram based on Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) is designed, and simulation models for the motor and controller losses are established using Matlab/Simulink software for simulation analysis. Furthermore, a controller design method based on TMS320F28335 is proposed, and the controller's performance under different operating conditions is experimentally validated. The results demonstrate that the designed controller effectively achieves speed and torque control of the aviation permanent magnet motor, with good dynamic response and stability under various conditions. This research provides important insights for the design and optimization of aviation permanent magnet motor control systems, contributing positively to the advancement of electric aircraft technology.
