A Framework for M-Learning Utilisation in TVET Colleges: A Case of Ehlanzeni TVET College

This study provides educational resources to students especially in Ehlanzeni college, regardless of time or place, is known as mobile learning, or m-learning. Access to educational resources, data costs, and inadequate of network connectivity are some of the factors that make it difficult for institutions to implement e-learning. This study developed a model by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and focuses on identifying elements that lead to successful mobile learning adoption. These elements helped to create a framework that TVET colleges can utilize to implement m-learning. These elements participated in the development of a framework that TVET colleges can utilize to implement m-learning. 49 people participated in this quantitative study by filling out a questionnaire. A random selection of participants was made from the Ehlanzeni TVET College campus in Mlumati. Despite their awareness of mobile learning, some students do not use their devices for learning, even though they already have gadgets to assist them, according to the questionnaire. The use of mobile devices in higher education institutions is therefore primarily viewed as an upgrade tool. To encourage students' participation on mobile learning platforms, the fundings' proposals thus include formalizing m-learning and creating an award-based m-learning model.
